Running team world championship
Run sport, running, relay race
The first discipline is mankinds oldest sport: running
Any sports club participating at any kind of sport shall participate here.
It shall provide an additional income possibility for the sports club.
Advantages
Home events only! There is never any travelling needed.
The club can keep any income from media and the running events.
Distances, races, runners
There are 4 races with the distances 1000m, 2000m(relay race), 4000m, 8000m (1 start together).
Your team: 4 runners at the relay race; 6 at the long distance race (the 4 best times are counted);
Best time, club time and ranking
The best time of each race counts and is added to the club time which decides the ranking.
A club can have any number of running events, just the best time of each race of the season counts.
Tasks
• The organization needs to register first (team sport entity). Then it can participate at the running championship. There is no fee.
• There are 2 seasons per year. From March to June and from August to November.
• Each runner needs to be registered before the start of a race.
There can be unlimited runners of a club however a runner can just start for 1 club at a season.
• At least one running event with each 4 races needs to be done.
The participating runners and the running times need to be submitted.
• Proof of the best time for each race: A video of the race need to be submitted to the ATSE-administration.
This needs to be repeated whenever there is a new best time of a race during the season.
Further terms for runners
The minimum age is 14. Runners can change their club in January and July.
Runners elected for the National team and so on need to participate, December and February.
Rewards
At the end of the season the club will receive a participation reward.
At the end of the season the runners will receive a best time reward for each race with best time (16 rewards).
